Mechanism Design
I design competition robot mechanisms for FRC and VEX, including parallel and non-parallel four-bar linkages, simple arm pivots, gearboxes, power transmissions, intakes, variable angle shooters, lifts, climbers, and drivetrains. I start from the robot strategy and requirements, then use CAD, master sketches, packaging checks, and quick prototypes to test geometry, motion, and interference before committing to final parts. I focus on making mechanisms reliable, serviceable, manufacturable, and easy to iterate throughout the season
